About Us

Our People

David Hards 

David Hards has been senior partner of the firm for over 20 years having succeeded his father, the founder of the firm.  David advises on commercial conveyancing, business and company matters, including business start up and company acquisitions and sales 

A keen supporter of local institutions, David has been chairman of the Malden Fortnight organising committee and a governor of Beverley Boys School. He has also served as secretary and two terms as President of the local Rotary Club and as President of the local Chamber of Commerce.  

Ian Lipscombe 

Ian Lipscombe has been a partner for over 20 years, he has wide experience of residential conveyancing and currently specialises in family matters and general litigation.  Ian is a member of Resolution formerly the Solicitors' Family Law Association which seeks to treat the difficulties of family breakdown in a responsible and constructive way 

Ian is an active member of his local church, where amongst other things he leads the music group.  Ian is also a member of his local cricket club where he serves as chairman.
